I was in the city center this weekend. Sitting outside having some dinner, when suddenly fireworks start going of. I’ve always been attracted to fireworks; they’re bright, loud, make pretty colours and completely pointless. What a brilliant invention. You could say that my love of fireworks and superficial things like that makes me a bit of a child, and well you’d be right…

What made it all the better was that I didn’t know that it was going to happen, which somehow made it even better than normal.  Now I can understand if you’re in a hurry you don’t exactly have time to stand and watch the flashy bangy things, but something like that you’d think that you’d at least look up. But as I sat and watched I got distracted, and trust me it takes a lot to distract me from something like that, but almost everyone walking past me wern’t even looking up. I wanted to jump up and shout at them “Look flashy bangy things!” But that might have come of a bit weird…

And I would never do something that might come of a bit weird…
